I need to do more fanart :'D...let alone now for cons...KH was a very popular choice and so I did a few thumbs for ideas....I liked this one enough to make it larger..tho I was very lazy about it...not really even doing a proper sketch..I just used basic guidelines and then did lineart....( i need more practise with that since things will come out alot less accurate and detailed this way)
I can see that kairis anatomy is quite bad..her legs are strange and..fat? maybe idk..but yeah :'D
I should probably stop assing around and do it properly from now on..So i can actually use it for con merch instead of experimental use :'D...
I will start with the most impactive part of this piece for me; the moon. Some may find it cheesy but I think it was a very good idea to make it heart shaped. It's pretty shape and the soft pinkish white colour of it adds a very nice and gentle whimsical softness to the photo. Though Sora's expression is somewhat contrasting with this, that is a good thing when you consider what the storyline is! Hence why I say that this piece really gives you a good feel of the deeper, emotional side of the characters and their friendships.
I will agree that Kairi's anatomy is a bit off but considering the way you've laid out the photo, it's understandable and I'm sure you will do it perfectly next time. We're always learning ^_^ Perhaps what I'd say is most off is her foot length, maybe should be slightly smaller? Only slightly though.
I really appreciate the simplicity of this too, the clouds are very well laid out so not too fussy but not too bare and the characters are very much in focus despite all being laid far apart. But again that's a relation to the storyline and it works so well!
I'll stop here otherwise I will begin rambling and make no sense! Well done, I don't enjoy much Kingdom Hearts anymore but this brought out my love for the characters C: Oh and the colour scheme is great too, very serene yet sad... Excellent work Kuru!
